Division of Registration newly added document: CERTIFICATE OF ENGLISH AS A MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION (EMI)

Available in both Chinese and English versions

The first Chinese version is free of charge, starting from the second copy (inclusive) and English version, each copy costs $100.

• EMI courses are counted from the academic year of 2021 onwards. Courses taken before the academic year of 2021 are not counted towards EMI.
• Those who graduated after August 2021 and have completed EMI courses with at least level E1 certification can apply.
• See the certification levels in the table below:

  EMI Level	Performance
  E1	Complete 16 credits (Bachelor) of EMI courses or account for more than 12.5% of graduation credits.
  E2	Complete 32 credits (Bachelor) of EMI courses or account for more than 25% of graduation credits.
  E3	Complete 64 credits (Bachelor) of EMI courses or account for more than 50% of graduation credits.
  E4	Complete 96 credits (Bachelor) of EMI courses or account for more than 75% of graduation credits.
  E5	Complete 128 credits (Bachelor) of EMI courses or account for more than 100% of graduation credits.

• Applicants who wish to apply should go to the division of registration after all their grades have been received and they have obtained their degree certificate.
